Lymphatic Drainage Treatment

Detoxify and rejuvenate your body with our Body Ballancer® lymphatic drainage treatments.

What is a Lymphatic Drainage Massage?

Lymphatic drainage massage is designed to help the body maintain proper fluid balance, blood circulation, and immune functions. The treatment involves stimulating the lymphatic system to speed up the removal of lymph — a mixture of water, proteins, and waste products. It has become extremely popular due to its myriad of health benefits.

While some lymphatic drainage treatments are carried out with a manual massage, Cryo Revive is proud to use the industry-leading Body Ballancer® compression suit. Available for both upper and lower body, this 45 minute advanced system ensures quality and satisfaction.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Lymphatic System?2023-09-22T19:31:16+01:00

The lymphatic system sits alongside the body’s cardio-vascular system quietly helping to maintain our health and well-being by performing three critical functions:

  • Aiding the immune system in removing and destroying waste, debris, dead blood cells, pathogens, and other toxins.
  • Absorbing fats and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system and delivering these nutrients to the cells of the body where they are used as fuel.
  • Removing excess fluid – ‘lymph’ and waste products from the spaces between the cells and organs of the body.
  • A compromised lymphatic system can lead to a range of health issues including tissue swelling, poor skin tone, excess weight, cellulite, and headaches.
How does the Body Ballancer work?2023-09-22T19:31:33+01:00

The Body Ballancer® uses patent protected inflating compression garments to apply a gentle or firm massage. Each garment contains 24 individual air chambers that overlap to apply fluent compression strokes that target every inch of the treated area. The massage motion, with its special direction of flow, increases circulation and gently but thoroughly decongests the problem areas of hips, thighs, buttocks, and upper arms.

The Body Ballancer® action accelerates the removal of waste products and excess fluid via the lymphatic system, reducing the appearance of cellulite, improving skin tone, and reducing volume in areas affected by excess fluid retention whilst its gentle, rhythmic action promotes relaxation.

What areas can be treated?2023-09-22T19:31:48+01:00

Two specialised garments are used to treat the upper and lower parts of the body. The Ballancer Pro Pants treat the lower abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, and entire lower leg, while the Ballancer Pro Jacket treats the upper abdomen, arms and back.

How long does the Lymphatic Drainage session last?2023-09-22T19:33:20+01:00

The sessions are 45 minutes each.

What is a typical Body Ballancer treatment like?2023-09-22T19:33:48+01:00

Depending on the area to be treated, you’ll be helped into the Ballancer® Pro Pants or Pro Jacket before reclining comfortably on the treatment couch. The garment will then be attached to a computerised air-compression device programmed to apply exactly the right amount of pressure into all or a combination of the 24 individual but overlapping air chambers.
Once the treatment starts, the gradual and gentle inflation of the garment will provide a smooth, flowing massage over the entire treated area, providing a relaxing, enjoyable, and even comforting experience. When the treatment is complete, the garment will automatically deflate and you’ll emerge feeling lighter, more energised and refreshed.

What should I wear to a Body Ballancer® treatment session?2023-09-22T19:34:05+01:00

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that cover the area to be treated such as leggings with socks if treating the lower body, or a soft, long sleeved top if treating the upper body. We advise that no bare skin should touch the garments for hygiene reasons

Are there any situations when I shouldn’t use Body Ballancer®?2023-09-22T19:34:20+01:00

We don’t recommend using Body Ballancer ® if you have any of these conditions:

  • Pain and / or numbness that hasn’t been evaluated by a doctor.
  • Ischemic vascular disease, including pain at rest and gangrene.
  • Uncontrolled congestive heart failure or unstable cardiac disease.
  • Known or suspected deep-vein thrombosis.
  • Infected skin or an infected open wound.

If you’re unsure about whether a contraindication might be present, we recommend you (or the person you’re treating) see a doctor first.
